What do you look for in a case?

Personally I like bottom mounting PSUs, good air flow, mostly steel and aluminum. Has at leaset 3x 5.25 bays. Front panels are nice. Really like side windows and of course its roomy. Black is my favorite chassis color.

and for kicks what would your ideal computer case be? Fans, drive bays, buttons, front panel? Watercooling compatible or already done? LCD screen readouts? Window or no window, size (HxLxW), material, color, psu location, number of HDD bays and anything else you can think of.

I was kind of thinking about this stuff this morning and I'm curious what you guys like.

Pretty much everything you mentioned there tbh,And i think the same will apply to everyone else here.

Another big factor when i look into cases is the price obviusly,The max i would spend on a case would be £80...anything higher than that is just too much for just a case imo.

I like cases with lots of fan mounting options, bottom mounted PSU (vented underneath) and Side Mount Hard Drive bays.

I like them windowless so I don't have to pretty up the insides. And with few LED's.
Computer is in my room, so I don't want the LED's lighting up my entire room when I
leave the computer on (to play music, or run a macro program) - I need darkness to
sleep.

Case must have strong plastic for power button and to support USB slots. Too often,
within a few months of use, I break the USB slots because I have a headset
connected from the front, and I step on the headset cable, and it snaps the USB slot.

Standard fans with Molex connectors so I don't have to buy more fans, and look for
adapters from 3-pin to Molex.

Dust filters.
