Any comments on this build thats what I think I will get for 1500$ for my next computer. I play games and work.

I'm against dual core, but that's being biased. 4.2 has a 2.2 ghz does it not? You'll be taking a sink in performance for awhile, atleast until software is updated to optimize dual core. I'd say about another year. Decent video card, and RAM is always upgradable. If I were you, I'd go for an nvidia over an ATI, and single core over dual core, but it's about preference. Decent build. How much you spending?
 
Yes, you are being biased. Also, don't worry, performance will not sink. I have an Opteron 165 @2.3ghz which is running as well as my old Athlon 4000+.
Also saying to get Nvidia over ATI is biased/fanboyism.

EDIT: That graphics card will not fit into that motherboard and I would get a SATA/SATA2 HDD.

Ok heres what i think you should get if your going to build a gaming machine first off the processor is fine dual core gaming is better then a pentium 4 with HT i dont care what the GHz says dual core is definately the best. You can go to the cnet.com and search amd dual core vs pentium showdown or something like that and in every aspect such as perfromance and value the AMD out does the pentium everytime no problem. Now the video card i would suggest using a geforce 7800 GTX Sli configuration. For a Harddrive i would suggest (2) 74GB 10,000 RPM Raptors they are the fastest SATA hard drives out there its kinda like a SCSI without the huge price and they make your computer sound like a aircraft taking off lol if you like the noise.Ram is fine and you will definately want a bigger case with at least 5 fans. If you plan to run a SLi it WILLL get hot fast and that can cause some problems. Other then that your configuration looks good to me. you may also want to opt for a Nforce4 compat mobo with an SLi or PCi express your choice.
 
1. That video card won't work in that board, and is completely unsuitable for gaming
2. At $1500, that system is HIGHLY overpriced.

Here's Praetor's config on a $1000 machine, that will outperform yours enormously (I love it when someone else does all the hard work :D)
