What do you think of this computer?

Music recording, video editing, ocassional gaming, website designing, and the basic uses...internet, word, etc.

looks good,Hp systems are very good.

It has Quad core,3Gigs of ram,Nice size hdd.

it should be great, but it doesnt have a graphics card by the looks of it so When you say occasional gaming it wont do very good on intergrated graphics.

This is what it says for video and audio...it also has a TV tuner. I know the computer is great, Im just wondering if it is worth $1450. thanks

High-end graphics and audio: The NVIDIA® GeForce™ 8400 GS graphics card and 1023MB of video memory—256MB dedicated—will ready you for demanding 3D gaming and video. This powerful graphics card also features TV-out, DVI and HDMI connections. High-definition audio support for eight speakers lets you add an excellent surround sound system.

I agree with Nevakonaza. A 8400 GS will not be that great depending on how intensive your video editing and gaming is. You might have to buy a graphics card if it doesn't satisfy your needs. I think you should build your own. You can build the same set-up with better brands/parts and save a little cash. I bought a HP computer, not as great as yours, but they put bad brand name parts into my system. Because of that, I'm never gonna buy pre-built computers anymore. You should consider building your own too. Prices vs performance wise, Price is a little higher than it should be but is not that bad of a deal In My Opinion.

Thanks, the computer I have now, I built myself and I like it but its getting a little old so I am beginning to think its time for a new one. Well, I will probably build a new one then, thanks for your help!

yeah definatly build yourself,You will save money and can get better parts.

Hp are good systems imo.But self building would be alot better :)

cool, I appreciate the help. I will probably need your guy's help when it comes down to building my next one, although I really like the look of the case on that HP...any idea where I might be able to get one, or something similar?

Jeff

you know, with this computer you are paying several hundered dollars just to have the hddvd drive. hp has a cheaper model with only the hddvd drive missing.

With this computer you are paying for stuff that you don't really need. Such as the 640gb hard drive, (if you really need that much, don't buy from HP, waste of money) and like marvelus said the hddvd drive. If i was you, i would go to the HP website and customize it to what you want. If you are willing to spend 1500 dollars and you said you wanna video edit and music record and stuff, i would look into getting a Mac. They are very good at doing what you wanna do.
