What Do You Think of this Laptop Good Bad or Indifferent

Would appreciate anyones opinion, good, bad or indifferent on the following laptop I just ordered from Geeks.com. As background to this, before I list the laptop & a link, I'm just using this as a second computer for when I'm too lazy to get out of bed & go to my excellent desktop in the den. I will be using this (as I did my previous laptop) for the internet via wireless surfing & downloading RAR & torrent files & the occasional word processing & burning CDs & DVDS & playing back and watching & listening to downloaded torrents. Just basic stuff. I will not be using this for gaming or graphics or taking the laptop outside of my bedroom. I'm saying this because I would appreciate you leting me know if this is overkill for what I'm using this laptop for. Internet & downloading speed is very important too me. I originally ordered a Thinkpad R60 to replace my T23 which I loved but damaged the keypad by accident, but the vendor messed up the order & sent it without an operating system & because it was too heavy anyway- I cancelled this & order this laptop instead because it got unanimous great reviews on Amazon which is unusual:
Toshiba Core 2 Duo 1.6GHz 2GB 160GB DVD±RW 15.4'' XP MCE www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=PSAA8U-14M02KZ-R&cat=NBB
Note it does come with a battery even though its not listed & I wanted XP over Vista which is why did not buy this new (as well as the $799price). I also bought for $192 a 2 year extended warranty. Let me know what you think. If you feel I could have gotten a much cheaper laptop/notebook that was just as good doing the functions I wanted, let me know. I really don't need more then 40 GB on my hard drive as I've never had more then 25 gb saved on my 120 GB Desktop Harddrive. I won't take offense (but would appreciate you telling me the model number).

hurrah for reading!!!!

he said he go a two year warranty on it, the 799 price, and he didn't want vista, hence the refurbish

and the lappy looks nice, one of my competitors for a college notebook

I just got the laptop this afternoon & so far so good, it looks (brand new) & runs even better then I thought. Geeks.com did a great job of installing XP & various programs on it. I'm tweaking it now. Basically, I got this refurbished because of the price (I think with tax & an extended warranty it would be around $1500 new) & the fact it has XP not Vista. If most new laptops gave you the choice of Vista or XP installed, thenI would have explored that more thoroughly. Unfortunately, almost all of the new laptops I see have Vista on it. Again, maybe I did overkill for what I'm using this for- no gaming, no graphic work just fast internet use, downloading & playing torrent audio & video files & burning CDs & DVDS, that's kind of what I'm asking here. I know I could have gotten a New Dell Inspiron with XP that AMT 64X2 Dual core with a 2 year warranty & the same amount of RAM, for around the same price or a little lower. The 6 pound weight appealed to me as well. It set up my wireless internet superfast in seconds. I'll follow-up on this post later in the week after I have all the programs I want installed & various settings tweaked. But so far, this laptop has been a joy & very easy to set up & run.
