What do you think of this laptop?

I'm not really fond of gateway because my old one only lasted 1.5years.... but my moms has lasted 4... I really don't know. it seems like a nice machine, though.

Then can you suggest me a similar laptop (In price and components) I need something that can play SOME newer games. I don't expect to play Crysis on even Low with it Maybe MW2 on Medium-Low settings.

Sorry, no. I'm not a gamer at all. I just posted the reliability specs in case that might be important to you. That Gateway may well last most folks many years without issue. But according to their recent track record, it MAY have a somewhat better chance of breaking than a comparable Asus or Toshiba.

What about Rendering times In Premiere Pro and After Effects? (CS4 If It Matters, My Parents helped me pay for it)
