Hi guys,

I'm new here.

I'm going to be getting a new computer in the next couple of days. I don't really want to build one simply because I'm too lazy and I want to be able to turn it on out of the box..

So I was shopping the usual sites and I found one on bestbuy.com that looks pretty good. I wanted to run it past some people who would know a little bit better than I would..

Here's the link: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...ategoryId=pcmcat103700050055&id=1173577698530

Now, to me that computer appears to be fully loaded with a top notch processor, good amount of ram, and a really nice video card. But thats where my knowledge is limited.

Tell me why I should or shouldn't buy this computer..

Oh, I should also mention that i intend to use this computer for pretty much everything.. I plan to not only use if for running several websites, but to run some pretty demanding games, and also as my television as I also plan to purchase a 24 inch HD widescreen monitor..

Thanks in advance guys.

Is okay if i were you i'd rather build it than waste so much money on a computer that soon won't be worth that much, for 1600$ you could get a much nicer system tahn the one from bestbuy/circuit city

Hey Ryan, tell us what City and STATE you live in.
May be you can find someone local that can help you or build one for you.
peace

Yeah, but like I said, I'm not looking to build. I could probably manage to build one myself if I wanted to go that route but I'm strictly looking to purchase a computer preassembled and ready to go out of the box.

With all of that in mind though, what do you think about the computer itself? Is this a badass computer or no?

Yea go ahead, but if i were you i'd rather order it from the hp site and if you're going to buy a extended warranty buy it from hp because those extended warranty's from bestbuy/circuit city are crap

I have a reccomendation if you live in Canada Go to http://www.canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=013656&cid=170.45 I own that Exact pc (you have to buy your own OS) in witch i put windows vista home premium 64bit on it. Runs all games nicley for a fair price. Btw the Motherboard isn't listed on the website i dont believe but it is a ASUS mobo cause it cames with and instruction book. And it is the one listed in my Sig wich is an amazing mobo
