What do you think of this?

Even though its cheap, I really wouldnt get it, because it has so little value, well... it has so little value.
 
Diego... I could have sworn you have another thread going with another Wal-Mart machine... Why the new thread?
 
Is it possible to build a cheap system for about the same price way better than that not including OS, monitor, keyboard, speakers,and mouse?
 
eh, for 200 it would be VERY hard.

the only reason i would get a computer that sucky is if i wanted to install linux on it...

You know, many diastros on linux need more RAM and a faster processor than Windows 98...

I ran into that problem.... the mouse wouldnt even work... Linux is not a "for sucky computers" Operating System...
 
Is there a way I can modify it so wondows xp can be installed in it. By the way how much will a linux software cost for installing?
 
haha, depends what linux your using SFR, i have knoppix (HD install) running on a old 133mHz pentium 1, with a MICROSCOPIC harddrive, i have 22 megs of free space, kinda pointless... but fun!

I was thinking more along the lines of Fedora Core(Red Hat).. Mandrake....
