Well... i have 2 7800GTX's atm.. but im thinking of going for 2 7950GX2 cards in SLI.
I know DX10 cards have been released etc,. but im thinking of buying the 7950's from people who are going to buy a 8800 series card.
I can get (I think) about 300 euro for my 7800GTX's.. and i can buy 1 7950GT2X for 325 euro. But I'm wondering... what do you people think if that?
(The idea is based on what i know so far about grafics cards, and that DX10 games wont be released any time very soon.. =] )

edit: the 325 euro card is a 1024Mb Asus 7950GX2 by the way. :)

edit2: I can buy 2 7950GX2 for a price just under what a 8800GTS would cost me here (Dont know if that info is important to you :o )
 
Good question, been thinking the same thing. I might put one of my 7600s in my test computer and the other in my next customers build and just put 1 7950 X2 in mine for right now instead of SLI just to see what happens in the next few months as far as prices on the 8800s
 
hmm... Someone just started selling his 7950GX2,. he asks 350 euro, im sure i can get it fo 300~325,.. the good thing is tough, its only 4 kilometers away from my home =]
i putted my 7800GTX's for sale online,.. 165 euro each. ( that would bring me basicly from a trade of 2 7800GTX's to 1 7950GX2 (1Gb) wich kinda looks nice tbh. But I dont know if there are negative things about the GX2 wich i havnt heard yet
( and yes... Im thinking of going for a Quad SLI setup a bit later. can't really be bothered by DX10 yet :) )

But,. is there something negative about this wich i should know?
 
Hmm... looks promising thb.. :) ( games wich support it have to come out,.. and i think in DX10 games Quad SLI would be noticable a lot, but thats just me I gues)

Like said.. i putted my cards for sale.. if it doesnt get the excpected result from the advertising,.. then ill just keep there ofcourse :o
