Your DVD drive is IDE. If you're building new - You'd probably want SATA for cable management purposes. IDE cables are more cumbersome than SATA cables.
I accidently bought an IDE drive when I put my build buy in - works perfectly fine - but if I was putting the same PC together today - I'd probably rather have a SATA drive. NewEgg's sale prices and inventory moved around the day I purchased - so at the last minute I threw an IDE drive in my cart and hit " purchase "
