What else is needed for triple monitors?

So I've been contemplating on either picking up two more monitors, or 3 identical ones. I don't know if my card would support that though. It has 2 DVI ports, an HDMI, and a DisplayPort.


Would picking up a second card also help?

are you talking nvidia surround or just 3 monitors?

nvidia surround is supported through the use of 2 cards (2 in one and 1 in the other).

Yeah. Sorry I was kind of vague. Was in between games in MOH. Nvidia Surround looks like what I'm talking about. Would I be able to do that with one 460, or do I need a second one? I would assume two would be better for frames and whatnot, but is it needed right off the bat.

i don't know for sure but as far as i am aware two cards are required for running nvidia surround. about 98.42% sure.

Hmm.. alright, I'll have to look into it. I just assumed since I had the two DVIs, an HDMI, and a DisplayPort, that I'd be able to connect 3 monitors via those ports and they'd sync up.


I can do the Nvidia Surround without doing 3D, right?
