insaneazian New Member Aug 22, 2006 #2 i heard that the core 2 duo run really cool so unless your gonna be seious about ocing, I think its fine. I think anandtech got like the E6300 to 2.52Ghz and the E6400 to 2.88Ghz on like stocking cooling or something like that.

34erd New Member Aug 22, 2006 #3 Rambo's got his to 3.4 Ghz on stock cooling, although those results probably aren't typical... The Thermaltake Big Typhoon, Zlaman CNPS 9500, and Scythe Ninja are all good heatsinks.

TonyBAMF New Member Aug 22, 2006 #4 I just installed the Big typhoon, it looks neat, I did have to bend a heat sink on the mobo to fit the huge guy though.
