What Format Does iTunes DL In?

I don't think you can use them in any other mp3 than ipod or shuffle. That's what I've heard, at least.
 
bad move on apples part then, cause they lose all business from creative, iriver, rio, and mpio customers among others. dern. they were the only people that had all 3 of the songs i wanted.
 
i want to be able to get it into mp3 format so i can listen to the songs on my Creative Zen Nomad Xtra. Isnt there anyone here on the forums that has itunes and has used it?
 
They make is an mp4 for that reason, so you can't put it on other devices multiple times...like yours, and then 10 of your friends. iTunes..you DL for your computer and iPod only...you can't transfer them to other computers and such.
