What games are worth buying?

I'm bored, holidays are coming up (in aus) and i need some new games to populate my HDD. recommend me some.

games i already have:

Crysis
Crysis Warhead + Wars
Left 4 Dead
Race Driver GRID
Hitman Blood Money (doesnt work no vista)
ArmA (doesnt work on vista)
Far Cry (HATES vista)
Far Cry 2

And that's it. I'd like to you guys to recommend me some games that could run on high/max settings on my system. 1280x1024 res. and preferably with 16xAF and 4xAA. Also, I am getting fallout 3 this week or sometime next week. :)
 
Wait a couple of months before you get fallout 3.
The GOTY edition is coming out soon (I think October) with all the DLCs.
Also if you like Fallout 3 you should check out the Elder Scrolls Series (Morrowind GOTY and Oblivion GOTY you can get them for 20$ each)
 
wait until november and get Mw2, then you can join in with the 24 hour marathon :D (updates will be coming soon, we got a bit more sorted on it)
 
Thanks for the suggestions, now i'm just finding out how i can get vista to see my 3gb of ram that i have.. it's only showing me 2gb at the moment

My vid card is 512mb, and shouldn't it only take RAM away if i have 4gb? CPU-Z is showing me my 3gb, but back on topic.

those are some great games, but remember that i need to be able to max them out or get close. 1280x1024 resolution. I'm also going to save for a HD4850 dual slot. :)

Why do you need to be able to max them out for it isn't going to make the game any better. You said you can play crysis on high and still get 40fps right. So what is stopping you from maxing out any other game if you rig performs that well in crysis. I would save up for a 4870 instead it is only about $20 more. If you won't a good game go for one of the call of duty's there all good expect for 3 it sucked. I would grab world at war Nazi Zombies is fun to play especially with the new maps the added.

L4D 2 (will be out in a few months, you know it is going to be good)

Not sure on release dates for Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 yet, but those are two games I would also look out for.

old games kick ass, you can get a load of them for free here (legit and everything, the companies bring them out for free after a while)

some have compatibility issues, but all have been slightly reprogrammed to work with XP, so should work with vista or 7 in xp compatibility mode
