Motherboard - ASROCK AM2NF6G - VSTA ( whatever that means )
CPU - AMD athlon 3500 64
RAM - 1GB
HDD - 200GB
Onboard graphics - Nvidia 6100 405 or something
PSU - 450 watt
(As you may have guessed i am a bit of a novice ;) )
Ask for any more needed info
I would like to spend around £40

If I wanted something better than onboard graphics, I would get something like this. Should be able to play games at playable levels and have dx10 capability and have great pictures for movies and whatever else.

This is what I would get and save the few extra buck to upgrade to something worthwhile in the future..

For your price range, not to many options..

Yea I wouldn't bother buying a card like that unless you absolutely need it and know you won't have any more money to spend on it in the future... or else just save up for a little until you can afford a decent one.

Yep, you'll want to save up, anything like a 7600GS or above will run most of the games you have. Also remember the PSU isn't the best (Winpower) but eBuyer also do the Antec Earthwatts for about £35 that'll run many graphics cards. Also, regarding your freezing issues, see 'Help for a Friend' by myself and have a look through. Although something looks a bit broke.

(Guess Who:D)

I have settled for a "Nvidia 8500GT Super", it cost me £45 from Eclipse Computers of Coventry. Thanks for your help everybody! P.S it runs my games brilliantly.. compared to my onboard.
