what happened to my thread

Earlier today I wrote a thread about Windows live mail and the thread has not showded up. Where is it?

Another problem is that I have made many posts and threads and when I do a search on this site they do not come up. What's happening?

I stand corrected because one of my threads does show up when I do a site search but that one was, I believe, in October. What happened to my other threads and posts?

I think that the site deletes the old Threads (more than 3 or 4 months not sure)
 
Thanks Guys

Right after I wrote the thread I clicked on my screen name and then clicked on the status tab, from there I found a way to find all my old posts.
