What if PSU wattage is too high?

Let's say my com needs 400 watt, with 12v @ 18a

would there be any problem if i installed a 800watt with 12v @70?
 
Nope, the powersupply will only provide as much power as the system needs. However, if you need 500 watts and your PSU is rated for 400, you're in trouble.
