What imaging software

Hi everyone,
I've spent hours looking for a certain type of imaging software that'll work the way I want it to work.

Ideally what I'm looking for is some sort of software I could preferably have as a bootable USB. I would plug this into a computer boot into it and it would allow me to make an image of the complete hard drive to another external hard drive.

I have various computers at different sites around Australia- as I go around and install and configure I'd like to be able to image them once they are configured. (Each site has a different setup)
None of the computers have CD drives.. so I can't boot from a recovery CD.

I would consider installing software on the computer to make the image.. but would prefer not to. I will only ever make one image at the installation so it seems pointless to install backup software just to make one image. And I guess I'm not keen on paying a license for say 100 machines when I only use the software on each machine once...

Ideally I would just have a 1 or 2tb external hard drive I could store all the different images on.... but once again if I have to compromise and have a HDD for each site I would consider that.

And obviously when all goes down the shitter I want to be able to rock up with a bootable USB and restore from an image on the hard drive.

So any recommendations of software that might do the job ?

I'd probably recommend something like Norton Ghost or Acronis True Image. As far as making a bootable flash drive, you may need to use an external program I found to burn the ISO to a flash drive.

I forgot the name of the program. It's on my laptop. I'll post back when I get to work.

EDIT:

The program is called UNetBootIn and can be downloaded here:
