I dont know much about cards. i just found what slot (APG 1.5V) i have and now it is time to find a card. i only want to spen about 150.00 at the most. i have had a lot of help from you guys on this subject so if you can help me again that would be great. what card should i get? thanks.

What's your motherboard? Cause I thought most of the AGP 2x/4x slots were 3.3V.

And most modern GPU's require a 4x/8x slot.

I used to have that motherboard and yes it is AGP 8X 1.5V.

You can buy any AGP graphic card you want. Best AGP graphic card out there is GeForce 7800GS.
You may also be interested in GeForce 6600GT or Radeon X850XT since this card is cheap now but it´s technology is getting kinda old.

So the best AGP 8X 1.5V is 7800GS.

It's really a crapshoot between the 6600GT and that 6800, 256bit memory bus or +150MHz core clock and save $50 or so. You can probably OC that 6800 to at least 450, so if you don't mind the slightly higher price I'd take it.
