I've asked some similar questions, but I've got a couple different kinds of answers. what would be a good laptop that could play City of Villains? These are the minimum specifications:

Microsoft® Windows® 2000/XP
Intel® Pentium® III 800 Mhz or AMD Athlon™ 800 Mhz
512 MB RAM
CD-ROM Drive *
4 GB Available HDD Space
NVIDIA® GeForce 2 Series, ATI® Radeon® 8500 or Intel® i865 Series Video Card 16-bit Sound Card
56k modem
DirectX® 9.0c

I've done a lot of research, but I keep going in circles. I figured I'd just ask you guys straight out since are so awesome with this this stuff.

Well City of Villians isn't the most power consuming game out there. In other words, it doesnt take that much to run that game. I'd recommend anything with a decent video card (64mb+) and more than minimum RAM (over 256mb). Or you can just go by the specs you listed there.

So what kind would you suggest? I can't seem to find a good laptop with the necessary video card.

Well it depends on how much you want to spend. If you're budget is only 800, you may not be able to find something that you'd be happy with. There are other preferences that you may want to check out before you over look something. Such as: screen size, widescreen or normal ratio, looks, build quality, CD or DVD burner, glossy or matte screen. I suggest you go to a local store to see what may insterest you and get a good feel what you want. One shouldn't buy a system for the sole purpose of playing one game.

Well I don't want a big screen, and I do wanna play DVDs and use photoshop, and Word and Access. Of course I wanna browse the net, but nothing too extreme. And of course to be able to play City of Villains. The only problem is that I seem to see that most laptops that are video game oriented are in the $2000's. That's a little out of my budget. I'm thinking $1400-$1600 tops. I've gone to stores, but the salesmen seem to confuse me more and are convinced that I need to spend $2500 for a laptop like this. If that's the case, I'll just get something cheaper and just play the game on my desktop, but I was hoping that wasn't the case.
