What is causing this?

this is starting to happen a lot while i play my games now. one of these pic is how it should be and the other got like a blur like effect cause by something. help me figure what is causing it so i can fix it. i think its my vid card and a couple friends agreed...what do you guys think?

If you're talking about the streaks in the background, then I would see if there are some new video drivers out... Otherwise, I don't know, sorry bud.

Yea, check for new drivers or uninstall, then reinstall your current drivers.

All I can say is its an old game, I don't think a new driver will help an old 2D game much...

You'll probably just have to deal with it, then. Just one of the many annoyances that comes with trying to use old software on a new OS...
