What is good free .zip extractor besides WinZip?

My WinZip trail expired. I don't want to pay for anything.

Does anyone know a free one?

Windows can extract files without extra software. Just right click "extract all" and choose a folder to dump it in.

7Zip is usually the recommended software if you're wanting to do more beyond simple extraction.

zip functionality has been integrated into Windows since 7....

When I click on the downloaded .zip file, it opens WinZip and tells me I have to buy it.

What do I have to do?

Uninstall winzip first. Then right click on the zipped folder and click on extract all.
