What is IEEE1394 Card?

It's a type of device connection. I assume you're talking about a Firewire PCI card? It allows you to connect devices that use a firewire connecter to your computer. Simple as that. (If you want to get a general idea of what I'm talking about, it's kind of like USB, but with a different connecter. Obviously there's a bit more to it than that, but it should give you a general idea)

Your getting confused with a "firewall". A firewall is a piece of software that protects you from online threats. A firwire card is a piece of hardware that enables you o connect "firewire" devices to you PC, devices include digital cameras and iPods.

Whats wrong with that, it was aimed at mcyi9ky2 not neuromancer ya know. He thought that a firewire caard was a firewall, i was correcting him on it. Whats the problem?
