What is Python ?

Pythin 1.5.2 is on my pc. I am trying to clear up some hard drive space and was curious what this is and if its safe to remove?

There are two...Python 1.5.2. (final) and Python combined win32 extentions

..... what? yes python is a programming language, not used very much in today's computing world apart from if the user has a REALLY specific need to use it. And it is in no way associated just to making viruses. It's a general purpose programming language...

It can be used in any environment where a valid python compiler can be installed. I can recall seeing compilers for Linux, Windows and MacOS before, it is not specific to linux. Although as with MOST OTHER programming languages it would be more stable in something that is not win32 based.

Do you program in python? The answer to that question will pretty much answer your question. If you use it then no, if not, feel free.
