Hi,

I've got CPU:
MB: Asus a8v-mx (graphic, soundcard, lancard via mb)
mem: Kingstone 2x256
CPc: 2,2ghz Amd Ath 64x 3500++
PS: 4A, 50hz. (400 tracer).
HDD: 60gb samsung

This computer is i can say new. I bought them half year ago. I've got problem:

Computer was reseting on linux & windows system about 10-15 times per hour when i done smth on them or about 5-10 times when i hadn't use them. I exchanged memory, PS, hdd and i get same results - resets. I went to the service and give them MB to check. They said: "It's work, nothing was change" but i looked on it and saw new battery. I waited 3 long weeks(SIC!). So i went and wanna install system...
When i want install new system (Mandriva 2007.0 or Mandriva 2007.0 powerpack extreme or windowsXP) it's problem like: Memory seems like broken, installation is crashed (in linux) in windows nice and liked by all blue window. So WTF it's cannot be memo 'cause i exchange 1 more time and looked same results. I'll go to them on friday, and i think i can get money back... They do nothing, it's same problem. So what i can say them? Pls help me.

I think you may be overpowering your power supply, with only one 12V rail at 15amps. But see what others say first!

perhaps you should download this to see if you may have corrupted RAM in your pc (or a broken memory controller for that matter) because if a pc is acting weird like that.. its either the PSU not beeing able to deliver the neccecairy power, or its corrupted RAM.

(download it on a pc, and burn the .ISO image to a CD :) , then put the CD into the pc when its booting up (make sure the CD drive is the first boot device)

Ok, i done this memory test:

1 bios memo test - std - No failure
2 bios memo test -all - 1498 failures (WTF!?) + no no signal after 1498 failures
3 memo test - colorful screens and nothing else...

so what is it ?

only on polish page (cannot find in others non-pol lang page):
http://www.arest.pl/index.php?inc=produkt&back=&ID=3933&katid=14

i am going to say it is the psu not beffy enougjh of it is cheap psu, since psu is in most cases the reseting, since ram problems = freeze or blue screeb, cpu = freeze, video card = freeze or blue screen

so your psu is cheapo, yes it the rails look strong enough, but i never heard of that psu before
