Also, what brand/model is the power supply.... and dont triple post(could a mod delete the other 2 idental threads plz?), as your power supply may not be sufficient to run anything decent if its a china offbrand cheapo power supply.

we need some info off the power supply to see what it is capable of powering!!

make and model number will do!

also your budget, as for bottle neck it basicly means that the proccessor cant cope with the graphics card "basicly too slow and the graphics card will suffer"

its like trying to find a ballance between the both.

hi funkysnair
Ok well this all the info I could find hope it helps & thanxs

I would look into the 9600GT or the 9600GSO and whatever the ATI equivalents are (3850?). They do not draw too much power, so while you would still have to upgrade the power supply, it wouldn't be a huge investment. Anything better would probably be too powerful for your CPU.

hi Kookooshortman55 yeah thanxs for that I was looking at three others the Gforce 7200 128 mb,Geforce 8400 with 256mb gddr2 & the Geforce 8500 256mb so can you tell me would any of these not do the job IE not suitable Iam soz too be such a pain thanxs again

oh just as an added thought the ATI Radeon x1050 128 mb

Again depends on all the games you want to play and what your budget is. Of those three I would go with the 8500GT but I would look into the 512MB version. The 9600GT would let you run every game on the market with acceptable frames. If you're only interested in a small upgrade to play Doom 3 etc, 8500GT would be fine.

hi Kookooshortman A thanxs for that its a big help give's me something to go on & I take it they would run ok on my setup with no prob's. Your right my budget is not too big so I have check everthing out know wot I mean but that's gerat info thanxs again
