what is the best graphics card

hi guys
I need help with a little problem. I want to fit a new graphics card but not too sure which would be the best one & which would best fit my motherboard.
At the moment its onboard which is no good for playing upto date games I need something with a bit of go in it if you know wot I mean allso not to sure if you can switch from onboard graphics to PCI-E x16 or not any help would be appreciated

Go for like a 4850 or something. not sure whether the PS will support that though, see what the others say.

Well, if you don't want to upgrade your psu, and just get a
low line card, you could get something under $100.00 that
would work just fine.
