I would suggest trying to slow down your posting and try to post only constructive threads in the forums. Alot of times new members can get carried away and post alot of useless threads.

I like C++ and C#.
I don't like visual basic and never really done anything with other languages except for Java.
there are free IDEs now which you can use if you like
MSDN provides Visual studio express edition which is free
and provides E-Learning videos to get you started.

and just so you know programming is a personal taste.
all programming languages do the same thing but some are more powerful than others.
so you just see what you like and learn it.
