What is the best shop to buy computer equipment from in the UK?

I want to get my father a DVD RW he already has two drives a CD RW and DVD Rom. It looks like there is space below those two between there and the floppy drive to fit it. Where would be the ebst place to buy this PC World? Live between Bournemouth and Southampton.

I want to use the DVD RW because when I-

I installed the software-DVDX Copy it said the following-

"Could not load your drive information please run the drive selector application"


What does this mean?

It is a software to create a backup copy of your DVDs.

Also his computer is so slow- I checked he only has 256 RAM I guess bumping this up to 512 would improve it.

To be honest I am not totally sure what to buy- DVD RW is what i mean. maybe going into PC World with my computer and speaking to someone is the best option. I could always search that site you recommended after speaking to someone and getting their advice.

after installing it, but then when I went to use it it said the following-

Does this mean I need a DVD RW? Currently just CD RW.

Well it's telling you to run the drive selector app. Is there a drive selector app?
