The red plug. Anyone know what its called?

the smaller of the two is a power cable for a hard drive or cd drive or something like that. the large gray one on the bottom is a cable that you plug in the hard drive and motherboard, where they transfer data to each other though
 
red one: floppy female to floppy female + molex female adapter it looks like

you plug in a single floppy cable from your power supply, and it can power a floppy drive and a device powered by a molex cable (older hard drives, older optical drives, fans etc)

grey cable: IDE cable

Yep, agreed. Smaller one is molex --> floppy, bigger one is IDE --> IDE

+2 most def Molex to floppy

look at the connectors on your power supplies. The molex FROM the power supply are female, like the one in the picture. The floppy drive cable is also female, like the one in the picture, but, if you look at the one in the picture, it is taller, so you can fit the floppy connector in and beacuse it still has the floppy out and has the molex connector also.

It is floppy female --> Floppy female + molex female
