What Is Trolling And Why Do People Get Infractions For It?

I've seen people get infractions on forums for doing this thing called trolling but I don't know what it is. Don't know if they have that rule on here. I would like to know what it is so I don't break it in case that rule applys on here as well. I might be sensible enough not to do it though.

Basically its someone who posts stupid threads in order to get people to respond to it, to bring attention to that person.

And yes, we do not allow that here as well. As long as you stay on topic with what this forum is all about (computers) then you'll be fine.
