Well you hit it what do you expect. Did you try the automatic repair and what happened? I would suggest that maybe you have broken the hard drive.

If you shocked it good enough by hitting it, you potentially wrecked the hard drive... if that's the case - you pretty much ****ed!

Lesson here, when you get mad, smash other peoples property.

Yes i was angry because of poker, high stakes tables,

Can i repair hard drive, because i need some of my data on my hard drive can i recover my data?

It's not likely that you could repair it. Data recovery can be done IF the platters and the pickup are not damaged too much but you would, probably, have to use a specialist data recovery company and it will be very very expensive. So probably no recovery is possible although, depending on how valuable the data is, you could send it to a data recovery organisation who will still charge you even they cannot recover anything. You have to make sure that it is the hard drive that has gone and the easiest way to do that is to take it out put it in a caddy then try to access it on another computer.

I think that in future you will be backing up your important data.

Please tell me you just didn't open the hard drive? You might as well forget it now. You are only supposed to open hard drives in a clean room with no dust or other contagions. You've screwed the pooch now.

I have oppened hard drive, then i connected it on the my deskop computer, and when i started windows on my deskop pc i didnt find my folder local disk that is broken, how can i start reading data on my broken disk?

Why did you do that? You should NEVER open a hard drive you want to try and get data from. Put the cover back on and pray to god you don't get any dust on it.

I have oppened hard drive
Why would you open something without knowing anything about the components?

It sounds like it was destroyed from the slam though, see those gashes in the platter? That looks like the head collided with the platter, damaging both.

You aren't going to get any data out of that drive and would need to buy a new one.

Opening it was a bad move as per others, but chances are it was screwed from the shock prior anyhow..

Valuable lessons learned today, I'm sure!

Good grief what on earth did you hit it with? There is no way that will ever work again. What was on it has now gone.

But my other computer detects my hard drive at BIOS, It detects IDE Channel 0 (my broken hard disk) then computer starts reading my broken disk, and it take much long time to get into my windows on my deskop computer, and then nothing reads on hard disk.
What if i buy docking station for HDD disk, and then i can read data on it?

Why don't you put it in as a slave and then boot that computer from it's original hard drive and try to read it that way. Looking at that scratch on the platter even though the bios is, apparently, detecting the drive I do not think your going to get anything off it. Kudos if you can and if you do then back it up to something else quickly. I think the problem might be that you have a 2.5 inch drive and, whilst it can be done but you would have to Google, it is difficult to set it up as a slave. The easiest way is to buy a caddy or dock.

But my other computer detects my hard drive at BIOS,
That doesn't really mean much, you can see the drive show up so the controller is working. It takes forever to load because it cannot pull the data off of the platter without erroring, which is the piece that is damaged by physically pounding it (not to mention opening it)

It's dead Jim

I wouldn't waste the money.. buy a new hard drive and chalk it to lesson learned..
