What is your Screen resolution?

I dont really know either, but even my 19 inch can do a 1920x1200. Im using catalyst option to change the maximum resolution.

i have max 1440x900 too i'd like to use bigger resolution

EDIT: found out how to do it but when im using like 1920x1080 theres a box on screen ''input signal out of range'' and its annoying, i cant seem to get rid of it.

any suggestions? o.o

Is the max resolution controlled by the Monitor or the GPU?
I want to upgrade my desktop, but I am not sure that I can run a high resolution monitor on my standard Intel graphics card.

my max resolution is controlled by the gpu but when i change it higher than the monitor allows there is a huge box saying change it back to 1440x900 and it's annoying

still trying to get rid of that box tho.

Why would you want to change it to something above factory? I mean, Using 1650x1050 with 1440x900 wouldn't be too bad, but don't things get small?

1440x900 is the native resolution of your display, that means there are physically 1440x900 pixels on the display. Once you start increasing resolution, the display will have to scale the image, resulting in poorer image quality.

i used 1920x1080 before but my monitor broke down didn't had the money to buy something good and big so i bought this what i have now.

im used to with bigger resolutions.
