I am in need of DDR3 memory for my 790i motherboard. I am looking at spending approximately $400 for 4GB. I have been researching pricegrabber and newegg and other sites. I have been looking at Patriot Memory but I am just too uncertain of what I should get. I don't see anything wrong with Patriot but other companies I know have better reputations from their widespread use. So what memory would you recommend/why? Should I go with 4 1GB sticks or 2 2GB sticks and do you know the best place to get your memory that you're suggesting? Thank you for your time!

I would go with 2x 2GB, and Patriot memory is fine, theres no reason not to use them, especially for the price.
