I just want a general idea of what everyone uses. And the picture resolution everyone uses

Currently i am on a 17" Sharp TV so i'm guessing I already have the hdmi cable to my computer? But I did get an 26" HD TV with the computer as my dad told me. I'm not sure of all the TV's spec's but does anyone know if I can get the model of my tv, and research it on the web to get the specs for my tv ?

From what I remember it was on the stores website. I think I did see it as Native & 720p. I'm not sure if this is a good product for the size. But none the less, I was wondering since I am already using a tv as a monitor, if the cable comes in different sizes for different tv brands.

I'm hoping to run the next upcoming game Battlefield Bad Company 2 on my 26" TV on high picture resolution with a good frame rate; mostly I am hoping to run it on 1920 x 1200, If thats possible.

Just a quick note, not knowing your PC's specs, as you tun higher resolutions, your performance will drop pretty substantially in some games.

Personally, I'm running an Acer 21.5" LCD at 1920x1080. I wanted native 1080p so I wouldn't have black bars when watching HD videos. Now I wouldn't suggest an Acer due to the issues I've had with mine and my Netbook.

O yea no doubt, I know my PC Spec's unless you mean something else by that. I'm just not so sure about mt tv spec's.

Im jucing up my graphic card to 4870 HD x2, but then again I might need to upgrade my power supply box aswell. I've got to check up on that; weight the positives to the negatives.

I'm not even sure if TV's below 30" support 1080p. I'm stuck with my samsung 26" and i'm not doubting it to dumb out on me.
