im upgrading my computer to an amd athlon 64 3700 with 1 gig of duel channel ram and a socket 939 board but needs to have an agp slot with 4 ram dimms that support duel channel and also supports duel core for future upgrades...can someone please give me some rocommendations on the ram and mainboard..i want to spend about $400 for mainboard cpu and ram. i was thinking of this one: Gigabyte k8nsc 939 nvidia, and maybe some kingston ram? and also what websites are reliable for good working products? i was thinking tigerdirect or pricewatch or newegg? thanks for any ideas and suggestions

Why do you need AGP? PCI-E is much more upgradeable. If you do decide to go with PCI-E, my board (A8N5X by ASUS) was about 70 dollars. I got my RAM (Corsair XMS) for about 75 dollars. That leaves about 150 for a CPU. I got all my stuff off of Newegg.

His current gpu is prob AGP and he doesn't want to spend the money to buy a new one.
