What Monitor?

Ok, well if you read my post before, then you would know that I need a new monitor. Well before I had a 19" ViewSonic CRT. That suited me fine, but now that I need a new one I might as well upgrade a little bit. I have decided to take the plunge into LCD. Below I have picked a few out, but don't know to much about them. For some reason my outlet here doesn't let me go above 60hx for refresh rate w/o my screen becoming extremely shakey. Do any support 60hz at 1280X1024?Here is the list I have made below:

Also, with LCDs can you run it a nonrecomended resolutions? I would probally be using 1280X1024. One or two I listed are wide screen, would I be able to run them at that resolution? If you have any other recomendatons please let me know.

Any help would be appreacited.
Thanks Bob.

Thats what I was thinking, but do they really have an advantage over the others? The main two it is down to is the VS VX922 or widescreen Secpter. The Secpter obviously has a wide screen, but does the vs out perform it by alot?

dude 8ms is quick okay you shouldnt have any trouble with games size 19 is probably enough

The response is not my main concern. What I don't know about is the contrast ratio and pixel pitch. Also the concern comes about will I be able to run games maxxed on the Sceptre and how many games support that recomended resolution? With lcd's can you not turn down the resolution down? Does it really mess with the picture so much that you can only run on the recomended resolution?

Thanks for all the help, Bob.

Viewsonic. I have used a couple of them... 1 CRT and 1 LCD, and right now I own a VA902b and I'm in love with it now! Good quality products!

GO with a VX series for sure, look like nice moniters externally, and are sooo nice for gaming on with an ATI X1900XT- Buy one, and you will love it!
