im geting my build soon. what motherboard will last the longest if its not defective at first and get the most overclock benifiet

I would DEFINATLY go with the EVGA board. one BIG reason is it supports 1066mhz ram where the asus is limited to 800mhz.. the EVGA has 2 network interface cards and 3 pci-e 16X ports - where the Asus has 1 NIC and only 2 PCI-E 16X...the EVGA comes with 6 USB ports on the back, and 4 more on a expansion bay option included totaling 10, also, you can get that same EVGA board without lifetime warenry for atleast $20 cheaper that the link you posted on tiger, HERE IT IS

also, check out the EVGA manual for that mobo, its all focused arround overclocking and tweaking - its explained using many programs very very well,

another HUGE reason to chose the EVGA is it has True 2 x16 PCI Express SLI Support.. the asus has 8X,8X SLI.. no good

it does not show it but the EVGA comes with a chipset fan

the EVGA has the newer 8 pin CPU power connector where the asus has the old 4 pin.

the evga has LED POST codes, a display that showes numbers that tell you what the problem is.

basicly what im saying is I like the EVGA better
 
Seen as you have an answer now, i have a question along very similar lines. Basically which mobo to overclock with a q6600 but it has to be cheap. (under 100 quid) Thinking a Gigabyte DS3?
 
for your board definately the P5K deluxe which is P35 and can support Penryns when they come out. Also, it natuvely supports 1066 and has been found to be the best OCer of RAM.
 
im gonna get the 680i since im gonna sli when 8800gts are cheap has a penny
i need to order my computer today but still deciding for a reply what to get
