What Motherboard

Hi.

I'm looking into gigabyte motherboards at the moment and have found one that does everything I need however a friend said he had 4 blowouts with gigabyte, and recommended asus instead.

What's your opinion on this? Asus or gigabyte?

I'd go for Giga-Byte.
Awesome quality and reliability although it always depends on what you buy. :)

If your going to use SLI\CrossFire go for ASUS i hear they're better.

If your going for one graphics\video card go for Giga-byte.

You need help with a recommendation?

If so budget?
 
Asus is better for Crossfire gpu connection.

Personally i like EVGA, if only they had crossfire connection.

You can get either of them, they are both excellent companies and offer excellent products and are very reliable. Ya you get a few defects every once n awhile but it happens.
