If you already have one on, why do you want another one? I have a pIII lappy (1ghz, 128mb ram) and winxp sp2 runs ok, just a little slow on it

Oh, sorry I didn't mention its 450 Mhz

Well looking at the specs, I would say that the computer was designed for win 98 or possibly NT, in which case, with 128MB of RAM, Win2k run just fine on it.

Win NT is not for network, it is just another of Microsoft's operating systems. However, it is more business-designed. Win 2k is Windows 2000

I already have a copy of Win 98, I think I'll put that one, will I notice I great difference in speed in comparison to Win XP?

well it wont tie up as many resources, but i believe windows xp has better drivers and utilizes programs better. But since your on an old machine, that may not even matter.

Hell yes. I am quite surprised you even got xp to run on that machine. 98 should run quite fine.
