What program to cut mpeg?

greetings,
i have a mpeg (movie) file that i would like to "trim down" a bit..any recomendations as to names of programs i could use to do this?....thanks!
 
....thanks for the reply!.......i think one time i fooled around with virtiual dub and hated it as it was complicated if i remember correctly.......any others come to mind?
 
I just convert all my video types to avi and then use AVISplit to cut video or make a clip. AVITricks can also do it if you know how, and also has many other cool features for making your own video clips.
