What program to play DVD's with?

Hey,
I have a brand new Pioneer DVD drive, and WMP 11 won't play it, but it will recognize it and show the artwork for the movie. It gives an error, and the nero it came with, makes you buy the full version in order to play mpeg2 i guess. So is there any free dvd player software out there that is worth while?

Most DVD player's will come with a disk that has a DVD player software included, But if not, You can purchase various software, such as PowerDVD or a freeware program such as VLC Player and a decoder like libdvdcss might work. (I have never tried it)

hmm. i should get that program. but first i need a dvd drive lol
