i bought this motherboard its a G43t-M made by ECS Link in the description on the website i bought it, it says it takes 4×240pin of Dual Channel, DDR2 800 up to 8gb, well i bought 8gb and put it in but it doesnt start it only starts if i have just 2 chips in so its at 4 gb, i took a look at the book and it says

* You can only insert two single bank memory modules to each channel when using one channel with two dimms, since G43 only supports two dimms with Dual-channel.

what the heck does that mean? what ram do i need for this thing to have 8gb? anyone know?
heres scans from the manual

Does the memory you bought have chips on both sides/double sided? Its not always the case but most double sided memory is double banked. To use all 4 slots you probably need to use 4 single sided memory sticks

yea the ones i got are double sided, where would i go about finding single sided memory?
is this kind of thing normal for motherboards? i mean if it says it takes that kind of memory and that amount and it doesnt , doesnt that mean the listing is wrong?

^^yea that memory is ancient and as far as i can tell they stopped making single sided memory at 1gb,

well i finally got an email back from the manufacturer and the problem seems to be a limitation of the Intel G43 chipset and that an upgrade might become available allowing me to use the 8gb of ram i have.
