What resolution monitor would beat 1080i?

1080i has a resolution of 1920 × 1080, so anything above that will beat it.

HD and high resolutions are different there other devices in play when rendering an image in high definition other than just a higher resolution.

1080i and 1080p have the same resolution, but one has an fps of 30 and the other one 60.

1080i has a resolution of 1920 × 1080, so anything above that will beat it.

Thats right, so just find a monitor with a higher resolution and your fine.

Most high market screens would have a resolution higher than 1920 × 1080, I saw one with a max resolution of 2000 something, I forgot.
