What should I do?

Ok, so I currently have a single Radeon 3870X2 in my rig, and I love it, but have compatibility issues with many of my games. I was considering selling it, and getting a single Radeon 4870. I wanted to wait for the 4870X2, but I figured I might have the same problem. Anyone have any experience with the 4870?

those issues are typycally Crossfire issues...

Tell me have you updated the card with new drivers?

If not, you will have to download the drivers from ATI and follow the instructions.

That should solve some problems.

If not, the 4870 kicks some serious @$$, and you should get it, but only if your card really does not work

Of course I have the latest drivers. Lol. Still having the same problems. MAJOR stuttering and very low FPS whereas my single 3870 kicked ass.

The 3870X2 is notorious for stuttering...

I thin you will be most happy if you just get a 4870.

Just know you might have a hard time getting rid of the X2...

hmmmm maybe its jus ati? i have had issues with my x850xt on some games too. the driver conflicting with the game.
 
Well... From what I've read, it looks like the 4870 has a tiny performance increase over the 3870X2 anyways... If only the 4870X2 were out already...
