What should I do?

I recently installed a clean version of windows XP because my computer was infected by spyware. After installing windows XP I installed Kapersky(AV) and counterspy v3(AS) to be sure that my computer didn't get infected by virus or spyware again.
After installing counterspy my computer seems to be much slower than before.
What do you think? Should I remove counterspy or have it?

I really need your Opinion.

Well if it was running slow when when you downloaded it I would remove it. The only thing I use is Avira antivirus, Comodo Firewall, and Anti Malware.

Thank you for your answer HDK20 but I'm not sure that my computer will be protected if i remove it. Will Kaspersky detect spyware if I delete counterspy?
