well i have had some sudden issues, if i try to play a game or watch a movie on my computer these weird jagged lines run across the screen like this...

if dont know if i need to update my driver or what (i dont know where to download my driver...)

but any help would be awsome
 
go to the Nvidia web site to update your drivers is it all the time or just in games and movies? have you checked the signal cables?
 
just games and movies but what are signal cables? and nvidia.com doesnt have the right driver for my video card i dont think
 
does anyone know how to do that system restore thing? i have done it before and it just shows a calendar and you can pick a date and the computer will go back to that date i only need to go back like a week when everything used to work!
 
have you tried reinstalling DirectX9.0c? since its only in games and movies, i would say its a software issue. ( or the card is overheating ofcourse, or at least, the RAM on the card) so, maybe see if you can clean the heatsink on the card, and reinstall directX.. not sure if it works ofcourse, but those are the 2 things that pop up in my mind atm when reading your problem :o
