What should I fill it with?

I've actually hit a speed bump in building my dream machine.

I've got this much down:

Motherboard

CPU:

Also, I'm getting two of these.

Video:

I'm also getting two of these.

Memory:

Sound:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829132010

I only have one of these. I only need one of these. Sound is the least of my concerns.

Network:

Hard Drive:

Media:

The problem is that I'm only using up four PCI-e slots, and I have seven, altogether. I'm also only using four of my SATA slots, despite me having TEN of them to burn!

What else do I add? I'm looking for a computer that can be a jack of all trades. Gaming? Check. Multimedia? Check. Email? Check.

What should I fill my vacant slots with?

You've botched the link to the CPU.

Why on earth would you put two gts 250's in an SR-2 build? That's like putting a Honda engine in a Lamborghini...

And don't even get me started on the RAM and Hard drive. Both of those are completely unnecessary and expensive.

I doubt if this guy know what he is taking about.

yeah...

I think he's just finding the most expensive parts possible and posting them.

However, that still leaves me wondering...why a GTS 250, of all things?

you can build a computer that will do all of that PERFECTLY for years to come at the price of your hard drive or memory alone. if anything spend extra on a sound system. it's funny but you won't be able to tell the difference between a 200$ memory and 3000$, why? because your not running a server. also, with the list you gave you have no slots left and extra hardware sitting in a box.
1$ says it's a host! (:

Maybe I don't wanna! Ever think of that?

Done and covered.

because your not running a server.
How do you know?

!

DUH! That's the idea!

and extra hardware sitting in a box.
What extra hardware is sitting there?

1. No, it did not accrue to me that would like to throw money for fun.
2. great.
3. "Gaming? Check. Multimedia? Check. Email? Check." if you were you probably would have told us.
4. your right I didn't see that your mother board has 12 DIMM slots!

If you are going to argue please save it, because I'm not going to get into an argument with you. I think that unless you need it (as in for a server) you are throwing money away and have no value for it, its way beyond overkill for a home user. you don't have to accept it if you don't want to!

Cant really figure out what your trying to build here. Dont think you do either. If your just trying to spend alot of money. What till the first of next year for Sandybridge or Zambezi.
