What Should I Get?

I will be getting a new comp soon but i havnt quite figured out which video card to go for. But I've narrowed it down to
1. 7900 GS
2. 8600 GT
I do plan on using Vista and I'll be doing some gaming

i'm quite sure the 8600 would be better overall. Besides it has full support for Dx10.

Yes I agree with The_Other_one get the 8600 Gt,it's a much better videocard and supports Dx10.

In the current games, 7900GS is overall faster than 8600GT

I would get 7900GS, unless if you want to overclock 8600GT

Yes, 8600GT has DX10 support but non of the games today support DX10
