I couldn't say how to attempt it w/your mb. I know it has the capability tho( cpu willing).
(still could use more ram)

well what are somethings in other bios that have to do with core unlocking.
 
Pretty sure it has unlocking. Give it a try. Plus with the latest bios P1.60 you can run all the way up to and including the Thuban X6 on it.
 
looks liek you got alot of help... i saw you wrote you dont have many options and i was a bit confused because you have a AM3 socket board :)
 
The UCC thing isn't necessary on 7xx chipsets. The SB710/SB750 southbridge chips have unlocking capabilities built into them as a result of ACC. The 8xx boards don't have it, which is why they have those fancy unlocking tools. This is one of the reasons that AMD released the 8xx boards...it was a half-hearted attempt at removing unlocking.

Oddly, some cheaper 8xx boards still have a 7xx southbridge and can unlock as well.

so i have acc and my options are off, auto, all core, one core, the all core and one core i have to set a % between -100% to +100% auto doesnt do anything, and have all core on -2% doesnt do anything either
