What should I upgrade

Hi, I bought a pc gamer 3 years ago, and it is getting a bit outdated. I'm planning in buying new components and I need some advice. I used to have a small 15 inch screen so I could run almost any game verry smoothly, but it's obviously not the case anymore because I have a 24 inch screen (1920x1080).

Here are my specs:

NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT
4 GB of RAM
Pentium Dual-Core CPU E5200 @ 2.50GHz 3.20GHz
32-bit operating System

I think buying a new graphic card should solve the problem, but i'm not sure.

What do you mean exactly by system? My motherboard? And for games, i'd say GTA IV is the game with the best graphics that I own, or at least it's the only game that I need to set to low graphics. My objective would be to be able to run it smoothly on high.

A whole new computer meaning, new motherboard, cpu, memory, video card, power supply, the works.

Do you know what motherboard you have? The model number should be stamped on the board somewhere. Cause right now, you would be looking at a better processor, video card. And it depends on your motherboard what processors it supports. You will probably be better off building a new system so you will be set for another 5-6 years.
